young couples are bonding over gadgets. This mutual passion for gizmos has not only strengthened their bond but has redefined communication in the new era. Right from iPads and Blackberries to home theatre systems and digital photo frames, the list is endless!

Newlyweds Anu and Ganesh KP share a passion for films. Among a varied collection of editing machines, laptops, a Canon SLR, a Blackberry and 2 iPods, a home theatre system is the next item on their shopping list. Anu says, “My husband and I already own a projector and several DVD players. I’ve started showing interest in many boy toys after I got married. Ganesh is crazy about gizmos!”
Several women feel this is a great way to bond with their men, and gradually end up acquiring taste and interest in gadgets. Sreesha Shetty and her fiancée Nikhil stay in touch via iPhones as he lives in London, “We exchange videos, messages and photos. Because of him, I’ve grown fond of technology.
Tech crazy Sameer Gupta and his wife Chaitra recently furnished their new apartment. Sameer says, “She used to get annoyed with my gadget obsession but she doesn’t mind them anymore.”
