Item song on Neha’s mind
After a sizzling performance in Rush, her latest film with Emran Hashmi, Neha Dhupia might be one of the hottest girls in Bollywood but the actress says that a romantic comedy is what she would really like to be a part of.
“I have done cerebral cinema like Phas Gaye Re Obama and also donned the role of a mean corporate woman in Rush, but I feel that in a romantic comedy one can have lots of fun on screen. You can laugh loud, and cry even louder,” says Neha, who was recently in the city for the launch of a multi-brand store, Promart.
Neha might not be much in limelight these days, but the actress says that she has a lot in her kitty. “I am in talks with director Tigmanshu Dhulia for an item number in Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster’s sequel, which I am really excited about since this would be my first item song,” says Neha, who is also working in Karan Johar’s next project, Ungli. She recently finished shooting for Punjabi film, Rangeelay.
The actress says that success or failure of the films doesn’t bother her much. “As long as I enjoy my work and can remain entertaining, I really don’t bother about the Box Office collections,” says the actress who confesses being a shopaholic. “And Delhi is one of her favourite shopping destinations. Whenever I am here, I ensure I shop a lot,” signs off Neha.
