Divya Goenka, a businesswoman opines, “The wedding to watch out for in 2011 has to be Prince William tying the knot with Kate Middleton. The wedding will happen at London’s Westminster Abbey and the buzz is the upscale arrangements at the do. The romance between the Prince and an ordinary girl caught media attention and generated interest across the globe. I am hoping that it will be a really fancy wedding and I would like to know every detail related to it.”
Hollywood singer and actress Jessica Simpson got engaged this November to her boyfriend Eric Johnson, and now everyone is eagerly waiting to know when they are getting married and what she will wear. The next interesting pair I’ll be keeping an eye on would be model Crystal Harris, who got engaged to Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. In spite of having a 60-year gap, the couple appears very confident about their relationship, it will be exciting to see if they will tie the knot next year.”
Coming back home, there is a big Bollywood wedding in January where cutie Imran Khan is all set to wed his sweetheart Avantika Malik. Sumit Dhamija, a student says, “It will be really good to see the two finally getting married in 2011. There are already reports about Avantika set to flaunt a Manish Malhotra lehenga. I am sure this will be covered extensively by media and people will get to know the juicy details.”
The next big wedding lined up next year is Varun Gandhi and Yamini Roy Chowdhury. Though the dates have not been announced, everyone’s hoping the young leader will get married soon. Deep Guha, an MBBS student opines, “Varun Gandhi’s wedding will be a big affair and it will definitely bring together a lot of big names in politics. There are reports that Maneka Gandhi has already announced that Sonia Gandhi along with Rahul and Priyanka would be invited to the ceremony, so I am sure this would give a lot of fodder to the paparazzi and shutterbugs.”
