Learn the art of self-defence: Protecting yourself is important in this day and age of bag-snatching and assault. This summer, learn how to defend yourself and your friends against all kinds of assailants. How can you do this? Easy. Sign up for self defence training classes, available all over India. Learn French: In June and July, Alliance Française is organising summer crash courses (40 or 80 hours of tuition) for kids (9-11 years), teenagers (12-14) as well as adults. Basic computing: IT educators like Aptech offer short-term courses of a one or two-month duration. These are ideal for beginners who can pick up basic computer and Internet skills.
