Make a statement with blazers

Ditch the boring suits this season as blazers pack a punch this summer, and they’re definitely not for the office.
Switch to open collared blazers and let out the suaveness that summer brings in us. There’s no need for you to dump your regular dark blue jackets but try considering new colours and patterns.

This is where the design twists that make a blazer a statement blazer come in. They’re a little flamboyant, excessively refined even, with contrast trims that make others go ‘oh i should get that one’. There are certains things you need to what to consider before you go in for a trial.
Mix colours: A dash of colour is the easiest way to transform the office-look blazer into a total party one. Choose bright shades like cobalt blue, ruby red, etc depending upon your favourites.
Go low on the accessories: Let your blazer do the talking, so don’t over accessorise your outfit and take the focus off the blazer.
No-no to buttons: Dodge jackets with more buttons, they give a service uniform feel to the whole attire. So go in for ones with deep cut collars and less number of buttons.
