Nurturing low-carbon future leaders

Riding on the success and solid foundation of the past 11 years, CLP kicked off the youth leadership development CLP Young Power Programme 2010 (CLP YPP) in Gujarat Science City. The programme provides a unique exposure to high school students to gain hands-on experience in the power industry and to understand the importance of sustainable development.
Themed “Towards a Low Carbon Future”, the programme invited senior secondary school students from India, Hong Kong and the China Mainland to submit creative project proposals on ways to engage the public on adopting a low-carbon lifestyle.
