‘People who rape women need help’
Recently, when item girl Sunny Leone visited the capital to promote Ekta Kapoor’s Shootout at Wadala, she was surprised to get an overwhelming response from her fans in Delhi. The Indo-Canadian adult actor, who entered Bollywood with Jism 2 getting rave reviews for her item song Laila, while speaking about the song, said, “I enjoyed shooting for the song and it was fun to work with the cast and crew of this movie. John and Tusshar were really helpful and professional.”
The actress, who was in the city to launch a fashion collection, mentioned that her tastes in fashion are very simple. She said, “I like to shop from brands like CK and Elle, I don’t wear too many high-end fashion brands. Luckily, in Delhi I have been getting many designer clothes from various designers and I’m really happy to wear these beautiful clothes.”
The actress, who was recently embroiled in controversy for her tweet on rape, clarified herself and spoke about the recent rape of the five-year-old girl in Delhi. She expressed concern about the victim and said, “I feel very sad for the little girl who had to go through this at such a young age. I feel people who rape women need help as they have psychological issues — it might stem from how they grew up or what influenced them, or what shaped their warped thought process. There is something seriously wrong with them. People need to address this reality,” she added.
