Poonam refuses ‘small’ offers

After Khatron Ke Khiladi 4, Poonam Pandey is finally being known for more than the rash comments she made about stripping if India won the cricket World Cup. Plenty of other reality shows have steeped forward with offers, but Poonam has other plans. “I have rejected all offers for reality shows, I’m looking for only offers that require me to act,” says Poonam.

And it isn’t just any old offers that are going to meet with Poonam’s approval — she wants to work with the very best. “I was offered a film opposite Rahul Mahajan, a comedy,” the model says. “I was also offered a role in a film starring Ashmit Patel, but I refused it. The reason is that I am looking to working with the bigger actors — someone I can learn from.”
Currently, Poonam has agreed to star in one film, details of which are still under wraps. “All I can say is that work will start in a week’s time. I cannot disclose the name of the actor as yet,” she says.
In the meantime, she is still getting over her case of hero worship for KKK4 anchor Akshay Kumar. “Akki was amazing,” enthuses Poonam and adds, “Until now, I’d only seen him on screen so to meet him in person was quite different”
