Powerhouse of musical talent at 15

It’s not too often that you get to sing a duet with Amitabh Bachchan and that too at the age of 15. But this singer has done it quite smoothly. The plus point here is that Armaan Malik is the son of music director Daboo Malik and grandson of late Sardar Malik. Being a celebrity’s son, he is being groomed well under his father’s wings. The 15-year-old has sung in over 10 Indian languages and finds it much easier singing than speaking in the same languages.

Armaan kick-started his career at the age of three when his grandfather sensed the quality of his voice and suggested singing as a career. He says that he couldn’t have achieved all this without the support of his family. “I started singing when I was three years old. Mom and dad have been very cooperative since then. I truly believe that my dad is my guru and I’ve learnt a lot from him.”
Apart from ads, jingles and title tracks he has sung for various TV shows including Chote Miyan and Chak Dhoom Dhoom. He was one of the contestants of the singing show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs 2006 as well.
