Rahul laps up starry praises

Actor Rahul Singh plays an extremely colourful and versatile antagonist in his upcoming movie Khiladi 786 with actors Akshay Kumar and Asin. His character graph goes from being funny to ironic to serious to tragically comic in a matter of a couple of hours.

According to a source, after much deliberation, the makers of the film chose Rahul to portray the role that he does, since the actor had shown versatility in his performances in movies like Delhi Belly, Zubeida, Tere Bin Laden, Chalo Dilli, Stanley Ka Dabba and Darna Mana Hain — playing a different role in each of the films.
Our source says that Akshay Kumar, who shot quite a few scenes with Rahul and was clearly impressed by his antics at the akhada during an action scene said to him, “You’ll be a big action star after the release of this movie.” To which a flushed Rahul replied, “That means a lot coming from the actor who redefined action and stunt scenes in Hindi movies.”
The two hit it off really well on the sets of the film with Akki giving a tip or two to the actor. We’ll wait to watch the explosion on screen.
