The weather wreaking havoc on your date plans? Don’t let the rain ruin your plans. The Monsoon can be the most romantic season, if you have the right ideas. Here are a few suggestions to get you started.

1No time like the Monsoon to get out the playing cards or your favourite board game. If Scrabble’s not your thing, there’s always Counterstrike or Call of Duty to make the hours fly by. Just make sure you do something both of you enjoy and it’ll be a date worth remembering.
2The Monsoon is best enjoyed from inside your house, safe and dry. The smell of the earth, the thunder and pitter patter of raindrops make a wonderful view when you’re ensconced in a love seat on your front porch or balcony. Might we recommend, dinner for two, followed by a romantic DVD.
3When the rain shows no signs of letting up, follow this wise saying — if you can’t beat them, join them. Get out your umbrella and take a walk in the rain. It’s the perfect recipe for chai and samosas, not to mention snuggling under the covers when you get back.
