Ranbir plays for peace

He may have grown up in an industry rife with rivalries and catfights but that seems to have made Ranbir Kapoor nothing but a peace-loving person, and that side of him came to the fore in a recent incident on the sets of Barfee.
For quite some time now, the film has been in the news because of rumours of an alleged catfight between its leading ladies Priyanka Chopra and newcomer Ileana D’Cruz. While the ladies were always unavailable for comment, both the director and actor have consistently always rubbished them.
But only recently, Ranbir took the initiative to organise a cricket match on the sets of the film and sources believe that his prime aim was to foster cordial relations between all the members of the unit. A source from the unit says, “This isn’t the first time that a match was played in between shots. Ranbir has always taken an effort to maintain healthy relationships at work.”
Since Barfee is in its last schedule, this was the last match on the sets and Ranbir ensured that the entire unit participated. “Ranbir believes that a peaceful atmosphere on the sets enables people to give their best,” the source continues.
