Starting one’s own fashion line or brand of jewellery seems to be the natural “next step” for most of B’town ladies and actor Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep Kapoor is no exception. The jewellery designer launched her latest fine diamond jewellery collection amid her divalicious friends on Thursday.

Sridevi, Genelia D’Souza, Anu Dewan and Sheetal Mafatlal were among the glamorous bunch browsing through the blinding yellow diamond spread.
An enthused Maheep played the perfect host giving a guided to the guests. When asked why diamonds, she said, “A girl will always want her first piece to be a solitaire. When women spend a certain amount of money on jewellery they want those pieces to stay with them forever. Jewellery is passed on from one generation to another, so classics will always be in demand!” There’s no denying that diamonds are a girl’s best friends, right?
