Sallu-Shakti war gets worse
Mr Bhatti On Chhutti, a film that has been in the making for three years now, will finally see the light of the day. The reason why the film was on the backburner for so long was because it had no buyers. Expla-ining the reason behind this, Anupam Kher, who is a part of the film, said, “We don’t have Salman or any other Khan in the film. It’s a film with small actors like me.” But taking off from the mention of “Salman”, Shakti Kapoor, who also stars in the film and is known as a man who doesn’t mince words, said, “Our film is better than a Bodyguard and we have better actors than Salman Khan. Unfortunately, the media fails to understand the difference between candyfloss cinema and quality cinema. Anupamji is a better actor than most top-notch names put together, but still that doesn’t help in selling a film.”
The tussle between Shakti and Salman has been on since the Bigg Boss days, when the former had first lashed out at the superstar. And ever since their war has gone from bad to worse, with neither party taking the initiative to bury the hatchet.
While Shakti continues to cash in on the drama, making snide comments on and off against Salman, the latter hasn’t felt the need to retaliate. Knowing Salman’s unforgiving streak (his war with SRK is still on), one doesn’t see this battle ending any time soon.
