Shahid-Neha neck to neck

India’s Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2012 contest, organised by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is already seeing Shahid Kapoor and Neha Dhupia take the lead in terms of votes. Close on their heels, in the contest, are Sonu Sood, Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush, Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor and Hema Malini.

In the past, Shahid Kapoor was named Peta Asia-Pacific’s Sexiest Vegetarian Man for 2011 and Peta India’s Sexiest Vegetarian in 2009.
“There’s no easier way to put passion into your life than to put compassion into your diet,” says Peta India CEO Poorva Joshipura. “Going vegetarian is the best way to help animals and our vegetarian celebrities show that there’s no easier way to stay fit.”
