Sharing the love
Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are one of tinsel town’s hottest couples- but they’re also notorious for being immensely private. Recently, 007 even lost his cool at a fan who snapped a picture of him and his wife shopping, and threatened to destroy it, enraged at their invasion of privacy.
But should we really be all that surprised? Men have generally always been the more protective, more inclined to keep their lives private- whereas women have been happier to share their joy (and sometimes, rants too). From sordid relationship updates to clicking umpteen photos with their loved ones, the female psyche has forever loved to flaunt their personal lives — or is a matter of individuality? “I think it differs from person to person, and is not really a question of gender. Relationships can be a tricky issue, especially when there are kids involved and people want to protect them. I am chill about talking about my personal life, but I do draw the line at certain points,” says actor Ganesh Venkatraman.
Model and actress Bindhu Madhavi feels it’s more a matter of being happy and content with one’s life that makes us want to share it. “When I do find someone, I would love to tell everyone, post updates, share pictures, etc. What’s the point in keeping secretive about it when it’s good news?” she smiles.
