Sid wakes up to Deepika

She was the brand ambassador for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and was seen attending several matches with Sidhartha Mallya. Now it seems the friendship between Deepika Padukone and Sidhartha has moved to the next level, though they are following the “we are just good friends route”.
Yet, sources and eye witnesses say that Deepika and Sidhartha walked in holding hands way after midnight, to the twin birthday bash Salman held for his sister Arpita and brother Arbaaz at Auras, in Juhu. They reportedly left together in Sidhartha’s car a little after 2 am. The one person not very happy to hear about this new development however, is Ranbir Kapoor. He allegedly grumbled to sources that she could have chosen another venue to make her relationship public.
For those who can recall, Salman had been like a mentor to Ranbir when he started acting and Ranbir was known to hang out at Salman’s place and take fitness tips from him. But things have cooled between the two heroes ever since Ranbir reportedly started dating Salman’s ex, Katrina Kaif and relations between them are strained.
Says a source, “Ranbir was not a part of the guest list and Deepika was. The fact that Deepika chose to come with Sidhartha Mallya and even left with him proves that she wants to go public with her relationship. Deepika seems to be more than happy with her new beau.”
A close friend of Deepika’s said, “It’s high time she got over her past relationship and finds happiness in the new one. Salman’s party was the right place where she decided to come with Sidhartha as Ranbir is said to be dating Katrina. She had planned to come there with him and let her actions speak for themselves. Salman obviously is now friends with her as they are both hurt by Ranbir.”

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
