‘Sikhni from the South’

Chashme Baddoor’s leading lady Taapsee has got a new name — Sikhni from the South. Apparently, the director, David Dhawan introduced Taapsee to Rishi Kapoor with that name and the veteran actor was baffled.

When asked about it, Taapsee says, “David Uncle and Rishi Uncle are both Punjabis and maybe that’s why he introduced me like this, but now it’s a habit for him! Whoever he meets he will always introduce me like this only. Davidji is very sweet and I had a blast shooting for the film.”
