Sonakshi is a no-nonsense girl

Sonakshi Sinha is totally living up to the title of Dabangg girl. The actress showed every bit of the brazen grit that her character portrayed in the Salman-starrer, in real life too.

On a recent trip to Patna where she was seen promoting her latest release Son of Sardaar, Sona had a rather nasty experience inside the holy Patnasaheb Gurudwara.
Accompanied by co-star Ajay Devgn and father Shatrughan Sinha, the actress ran into trouble with a few local goons who tried to misbehave with her. Clad in a salwar kameez, she made an entry in the gurudwara, when a so-called fan pulled her close to him. Though she was initially thrown aback, Sonakshi, not one to take nonsense, immediately lashed out at him. The chaos caught enough attention to make the men flee the spot immediately and leave Sonakshi alone.
It was much later that Shatrughan Sinha or Ajay realised what had happened. But by the time they did, Sona had already taken charge of the situation. “Sona is an absolute no-nonsense girl and fiercely independent. She didn’t wait for anyone to intervene and teach the offenders a lesson. Instead she tackled the situation herself and rather gracefully at that if I may add,” says an eye-witness adding that unlike most star kids, Sona is not one to throw starry tantrums.
The matter got resolved in a matter of a few minutes, but not without leaving a bitter taste in Sona’s mouth.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
