Spice up your gadgets with interesting stick ons

Bored with the same ordinary look of your iPod or mobile phone? Well, then it’s time to experiment. Add bling to your boring handset, with quirky little details that set your possessions apart from the rest. Be it something as big as your car, or as small as your iPod, it’s time to bring or maybe “bling” on those interesting accessories to give a completely different style to your prized possessions. After all they deserve it, don’t they?
Different stick ons can be put at the back of your phones and laptops and these shiny things are becoming haute favourites. Harpreet Devyal Suri, a PR manager, who has a sexy snake at the back of her Blackberry says, “It’s always fun to have a new cover for your phone as it spices it up,” avers Harpreet.
Astha Kapoor, a student has a small butterfly stick-on on her Nokia E 63. “I love the pink and purple butterfly on my phone. While getting a skin?(wallpaper for the surface of your phone) for your phone or laptop is tough to decide, you can opt for these funky stick-ons and remove them once you get bored,” she says.
Tech-addicts reveal that the dire need to look different has now escalated to new heights, with people wanting to jazz up their accessories. Devin Gulati, marketing director of Skinzwork, a firm that specialises in making skins for laptops says, “The skins for laptops are in demand for two main reasons. Firstly, they want to protect the laptop from scratches and secondly, to customise the look of their laptop according to their taste,” informs Devin.
Shireen Parhee, a student is addicted to bright colours. She has turned her black phone into a funky looking gadget with a pink cover and yellow 3D stick ons. “These accessories speak a lot about your personality,” she adds.
