Teen patti scores a big hit online

While the traditional Teen Patti game always grips the city around Diwali, this time even the online format of the game is doing well. Makers of the online formats of Teen Patti admit that its popularity is growing by the day.
While the Teen Patti game offered by Ibibo.com has more than four million users both on PC and Android mobile phones, there are others like playteenpatti.com by Junglee Games, teenpatticasino.com, 3patti.com that are becoming popular. Most of these sites have come up with contests from time to time and offer exciting prizes to winners.
Rahul Razdan from ibibo says that the number of players shoots up to 150 percent during Diwali, especially in Delhi, Mumbai and Gujarat. “We are seeing a very strong trend this year of people playing their customary Diwali card games either online or on their mobile phones,” he says, and adds that besides Teen Patti even other games like Rummy are popular among the masses.
While some can’t stop raving about the online card games that offer many variations from the original, there are some who love to play the game in its traditional form.
Business developer Gautam Gupta, who is registered with three different Teen Patti games online, says that beside connecting to players from around the globe, these games also offer interesting variations that are much different from the original one. “I’m hooked to these. Plus, the lure of winning prizes like tabs, iphones, holidays and other things keeps you connected to the game,” he says.
However, some like Gaurav Kumar, an IT professional, who loves card games, thinks that nothing can match the excitement of playing Teen Patti with friends. “If you are playing it on your computer sitting alone in a room, you would not get the feel of playing a game. You can’t fight with the other contenders. You can’t shout when you win. It just gets too dull,” says Gaurav, an avid gamer.
