Tempting discounts to spice up your meal
From Bukhara to Barista, to everything in between, you now have a guide full of coupons for some of the best restaurants in the city. The second edition of the book, Go Delhi started by Shivani and Ruchi Sibal has hit the stands with more opportunities for foodies. Featuring more than a hundred restaurants from around the capital, the book promises to not just be your food guide, but will also save you some money. And how.
“On the purchase of the item mentioned on the coupon, which ranges from a set of cookies to a main course, you can order, for free, another portion of the same dish or sometimes something that is similarly priced. The guide is packed with dining vouchers and exciting offers that will help people get the best value possible whilst exploring the city’s dining options,” Shivani tells us.
While they do keep your budget in mind, the selection is a careful combination of both hi-end and casual dining places. “We just kept the authenticity of the places in mind. There’s huge competition among restaurants in Delhi and there are some, which shut down after functioning only for a few months. So our idea was to feature only those places, which are Delhi brands and promise to be there for a long time,” says Shivani. There’s more that comes in this little wonder. The restaurants have been categorised into several sections, considering every kind of cuisine, ambience, and budget. According to the Sibals, “The book divides fine dining into gold, silver and bronze levels, depending on the price and the overall dining experience. Bars and bakeries make up a separate list. There are three vouchers for every restaurant, café and bar.”
