Trust eTechies for tech woes

You bought a Mac PC and were immensely proud of your possession. The gadget stored all your private information, music and movies. Suddenly, on one stormy day, it stops functioning. Prodding a little, you realise that it is virus- affected. The PC is out of the warranty period and entrusting your Mac to a local repairer is definitely out of picture. Now what? eTechies offers you a viable solution.
To fix your computers, eTechies registers complaints at its call centre, where the technicians identify whether the problem is hardware or software based. Once that is done, then the decision is taken whether to send a technician at site or fix the problem from their repair centres. eTechies have numerous service plans and packages to choose from. It is based in Gurgaon and has repair centres in Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune.
“After spending almost a decade with some of the biggest names in the online technical support sector, I realised that we do not have an organised player in the computer repair service. Providing third-party technological support to clients based in USA has been India’s prerogative. Towards the end of 2009, I put down my papers at an IT solutions company and did some market research in the arena. In April 2010, eTechies was launched,” says Rohit Chaudhary, founder and CEO, eTechies. The other members in the management team include Siddharth Bhatia, founder, operations and Samarth Goyal, founder, technology.
eTechies current strength is over 200 and they serve more than 25000 clients, which include corporate giants like Dell, Adobe, Intel and Siemens.
“Amid some very important work, motherboard of my PC crashed. I had heard of eTechies through word-of-mouth and decided to take their service. My PC was functional within few hours. I had a very satisfying experience,” says Rajiv Shukla, an MNC executive.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
