In the age of rapid communication and technology, online portals like OLX.in, and Quickr have witnessed a surge in antique products and people can easily find them with a single click. Moreover, those who want to sell the antique products can also find the genuine buyers.
Online ad classified portal OLX.in has recently seen a flow in ad postings related to buy and sell of the vintage collections.
Olx.in has the ad postings for variety of coins like twenty pence of Elizabeth II, One Rupee coin circulated during the reign of Emperor George VI, Mughal era coins, ancient Ram Darbar coins etc.
Old stamps and paintings like capturing of Lucknow during freedom struggle, 300 years old Quran, the burning horse of Madgascar add sparkle to the vintage collection. Abhishek Gupta, a resident of Lucknow, has posted an ad online. He says, “I want to sell my coins belonging to the Mughal period and am interested in genuine buyers only. To me this is the quickest and the easiest way of earning the right money from my collection.”
Madhu Soni from Gurgaon had posted an ad to sell off her vintage paintings in the “Art Collectibles” section of an online portal. “This is like putting technology to the best use. I am sure I will strike the right deal with this smart move,” she says.
Kartikey Rao, another resident of Gurgaon, who also wants to sell his collection of old coins only says, “Vintage products always remain trendy. Nowadays, the sale of antiques has become much faster with online portals.”
