Baby bump photos! And to-be-mothers all over the globe are even taking it a little further — by posing almost naked. More and more women are celebrating their pregnant bodies with a bare-it-all attitude before the camera, revelling in the female form.

This could be a sign of the growing confidence of pregnant women who are even shelling out big bucks to have exclusive photo shoots done. Actress Demi Moore could be responsible for all this, when she started the trend in 1991, posing naked for the cover of Vanity Fair magazine while seven months pregnant.
The issue was attributed to abolishing taboos about the pregnant body, which had, until then, remained completely covered under tent-style dresses, reveals The Daily Mail.
Specialist photography companies have reported a 60 per cent increase over the last year in women choosing to have their baby bumps professionally photographed at rates of over £150 for a photoshoot and up to £300 for an entire album.
Though the trend has come in for much criticism, doctors have stated that these pregnant women want to look sexy for their husbands even during this phase in their lives, which, in turn, leads to extreme confidence and energy boosts.
