When can you be a ‘professional sleeper’?
Sounds like a dream job, doesn’t it? A hotel in Finland, called Hotel Finn is actually ‘recruiting’ a ‘professional sleeper’ and the job begins on 17 May while applications are open till the end of April.
The hotel, which is in the heart of Helsinki had posted a blog that announced its recruitment for a person to stay at the hotel for 35 days in 35 different rooms. This person will have to write down his or her thoughts and experiences at the hotel. In the cold and costly state of Finland, Hotel Finn offers stay at an affordable price.
But if you think it’s all a cinch and that there is nothing more to this ‘easy’ job well then, think again! Not only do you need to know fluent Finnish and English, but also Russian.
According to Tio Tikka, the hotel manager, the stunt was thought up as a clever tactic to promote the hotel after lengthy renovations. It’s clearly working, as more than 600 ‘professional sleepers’ have already applied!
