This week, in Paris, when he was strolling around the city, minding his own business ...until he spotted a young couple busy with their wedding vows. Now we’d imagine he would want to continue jogging, try to maintain a low profile and get out of their way. But no!
This is how Bolt describes the moment on Instagram, hashtags and all: “Only in Paris you walking in the square and the bride and groom run leave to the proceedings to take a picture #ParisSquare #wedding #lovebirds.”
The Asian couple was visibly super-excited to leave their wedding and guests behind, preferring to pose instead for a picture with the star athlete. More than 48,000 people have liked the photo since the record-holding sprinter posted it to his Instagram, proving it to be a viral hit, reports Mashable. Could this just be the coolest wedding snap of all time?
The Jamaican athelete is widely regarded as the fastest person of all time, after he became the first man to hold both the 100 metres and 200 metres world records since fully automatic time measurements became mandatory in 1977.
The 27-year old is also a huge and ardent supporter of football club Manchester United.
