Where will Beckham’s son play football?
David Beckham is possibly the most famous footballer of our generation, and it was no surprise that he caused a worldwide stir when he announced his retirement from the game a few days ago.
But in a move that will delight fans of the former Manchester United player, Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn, looks all set to continue the legacy as the 14-year-old has joined the Queens Park Rangers’ under-14 academy side, that is located near the Beckham family’s home, reported The Daily Mail. Brooklyn first started playing at Tottenham Spurs as a four-year-old and even had a trial with Chelsea FC’s junior team earlier this year. He could often be spotted on the pitch along with his father at LA Galaxy and Paris Saint-Germain. In a viral video last month, Brooklyn and his brothers even tried to dribble across and tackle the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva during a fun training session. Beckham captained the PSG side last week as the curtain came down on a decorated career, spanning two decades. The global sportstar has spoken in the past about his son, and that he wondered as a parent if Brooklyn had the same hunger he had as a kid!
