Who surprised his fans?

With Rajinikanth’s RaNa, directed by his daugher Soundarya Rajinikanth shrouded in uncertainty, rumours are doing the rounds that he would make an appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One.

Industry sources reveal that SRK who has always admired the star quality of Rajinikanth and his rise to numero uno status in Indian cinema, was planning to emulate Rajinikanth through a lookalike. But with rumours of Rajini’s illness and repeated denials from his coterie and family, the Superstar has decided to delight millions of his fans through a Bollywood flick that has far more reach. Especially an SRK film with Rajini as an added bonus would interest global audiences.

His daughter Soundarya who always maintained that RaNa was on track must also be delighted as his Ra.One stint will put all rumours of his putting a full stop to acting to rest.

Sources in the industry reveal that he will have his trademark style and dialogue delivery in place and will shoot for the film in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Although it has been rumoured that Rajini will make an appearance during an SRK fight sequence with a gang of thugs, it cannot be confirmed that if he would be part of that particular scene.
