Winter wardrobe
November’s here and with it, a chill in the air that allows fashionistas to finally flaunt their winter wear. For the metrosexual male, it’s an opportunity to rock the layered look. So here’s a look at some must-haves this season.
The leather jacket tops the list for model Zainn, who says, “I think it’s a classic that’ll never fail you. I like a short jacket that ends just at the waist and can be worn over a T-shirt and jeans with a pair of boots.”
Another classic combination is the scarf and overcoat. Model Rishma Shetty says, “I like to see a man in a long, chic trench coat. Since it’s not too cold here, one can opt for a thin fabric without an inner lining. That and a muffler really look good in winter.”
Cardigans and pullovers are also essential to the winter wardrobe. “In India we have to be careful not to imitate British or American fashion because we’re not bundling up for snowfall. It would look silly in this pleasant weather,” Zainn adds.
So go light and layered this season!
