Women who take fun very seriously

The time has come to take funny women seriously! So believes comedian Vasu Primlani who is taking female comedy shows to the next level with That’s What She Said. An all-female lineup, starring heavyweights of the comedy circuit in India like Neeti Palta, Vasu Primlani and Aditi Mittal, will take the stage.

Vasu, who has put this women’s special act together, says, “There was a time when we had no female engineers or doctors. Not because women could not do it but because they were not encouraged enough. Same is true with comedy,” says Vasu.
But things are changing and many female comedians are now coming forward. Vasu insists that women comedians do not make indecent comments and have an intelligent quotient to their humour.
Neeti says, “Our comedy is a take on the way we think and behave and how men treat women”
