Work on the pores
Facial pores have been a cause of major concern for women between 25 and 50 years of age. From greasy skin to blemishes, pores tend to pose a wide range of problems. One of the prime causes behind pore damage is excessive exposure to sun. So using a sunscreen that doesn’t clog the pores can tackle the problem.
Also the more the pores get clogged, the more they tend to stretch. So it is important to cleanse daily, at least twice a day to remove excess oil and sebum. Frequent toning is also important. Then gently exfoliate your face to remove additional skin cells. Pores will appear smaller if they are emptied of sebum through exfoliation and not squeezing. Ensure you apply a light moisturiser to plump and hydrate the skin.
One of the most important nutrients for skin is vitamin A. Any derivative of this vitamin is excellent for building collagen and reducing pore size. A well known grandma therapy involves making a thick paste of dahlia in some buttermilk or cucumber juice and apply it on the face for 15 minutes before rinsing it off. This mask not only help treating open pores but also helps in improving the texture of the skin.
The classic tomato and honey mix is also a great way to treat open pores.
