Yummy mummy penning a book
She donned a bikini in her debut, Janasheen, flaunted her curves and set the screen on fire. Celina Jaitley’s grey eyes and husky voice left men drooling. Although that didn’t exactly transcend to film offers, she did manage to get a few hits like No Entry and Apna Sapna Money Money.
Now a mother of two 14-month-old twin boys and based in Singapore with hotelier hubby Peter Haag, the former Miss India was in the city to open a new branch of Richfeel in Greater Kailash.
How is motherhood treating her? “I am blessed to have not one but two bundles of joy. Life has been beautiful post their birth. I can now connect to my mother in a completely different level because I realise how much patience and perseverance is needed for that. I really want all mothers out there to take a bow,” says Celina.
The actress is also writing a book on her motherhood experiences. “My book is not based on ‘dos and don’ts’ of motherhood. It is just meant to share my experiences right from the time I was pregnant to the present day. It took time to recover from my caesarian operation and get back into shape. And it is not easy nursing twins,” she informs.
Post her long sabbatical, what plans does the actress have on the work-front? “I am working towards launching my own production house. Since comedy has been my genre, we will look towards producing more of such comedies. Also towards the end of this year I will start working on the sequel of No Entry,” says the 32-year-old beauty.
