Name: Chand Babu Sattar Shaikh

Nineteen-year-old Shaikh works as a butcher in a chicken shop close to Mahalaxmi railway station. While not at his workplace, he loiters in the railway premises and other secluded places like the abandoned Shakti Mills compound, as it does not have security guards. Shaikh, along with his friends from the area, was known to cross the tracks, steal railway property and commit offences in the deserted premises. Shaikh was arrested on August 23 by PSI Sunil Pawar of the Agripada police station, after a 10-year-old local boy tipped off the police about his whereabouts. The police has seized his cellphone and is going through his phone call details.
Name: Vijay Mohan Jadhav alias Nanu

Status: Arrested
The 18-year old unemployed Jadhav was arrested late on Friday night from the Soni Video Theatre at Madanpura. A Class 7 dropout, Jadhav’s father is an employee in the BMC. He is a drug addict and regularly frequents Shakti Mills compound to consume Ganja. He has cases of thefts against him in the Mumbai Central GRP and Dadar GRP stations, in the year 2012. He was punished by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of the Western Railway under different sections of the Indian Railway Act 1989 and RPUP (Railway property unlawful possession Act 1966) for committing theft of railway properties. The police has seized his Lava cellphone and `21. However, the police discovered that he had thrown away the SIM card to wipe out any evidence against him.
Name: Siraj Khan alias Saraju
Lives at: Dhobhi Ghat
Status: Arrested
The 25-year-old school dropout has no fixed living place. He sells stolen scrap and hangs around the Dhobhi Ghat, Saat Raasta area with the other accused. He was arrested on Saturday from the eastern suburbs, but some police sources said that he was probably picked up from the Mumbra area.
Additionally, according to sources in the GRP, two of the accused have served sentences of up to one year in the Byculla jail, while the third accused is facing trial in the metropolitan court no. 36 situated at the Mumbai Central police station.
Rajendra Roopnawar, senior divisional security commissioner of the Mumbai division of the RPF said, “We have already submitted the dossier of related offense committed by the accused to the NM Joshi Marg police station.
