The GRP, which is investigating the case of a woman’s body found in a suitcase, on Thursday revealed that the victim was assaulted before she was throttled.
The police said that CCTV footage has revealed that the suitcase was brought from the Pune-Mumbai Sinhagad Express by two persons in there 20s, who then abandoned it at the CST platform.
In order to find leads, the police is also checking the cameras installed at stations between Pune and Mumbai, which include Pune, Shivaji Nagar, Khadki, Pimpri, Chinchwad, Lonavla, Khandala, Kalyan and Dadar.
