Ajit assures support to farmers

Deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar assured that the government would provide complete assistance for the development of agriculture, and help farmers sell their produce at good rates.
He announced the same following the inauguration of the Sharadchandra Pawar Agriculture Produce Market Committee market in Pimpalgaon Baswant village of the Niphad taluka of Nashik on Friday evening.
Mr Pawar further urged the farmers to increase their production by exporting other food crops. “Increase the export of grapes, various fruits, onions and other agriculture produce. The government will provide the necessary transport facilities. The Railways can be used to send the produce to other states,” said Mr Pawar.
PWD minister Chhagan Bhujbal, adivasi minister Madhukarrao Pichad, ZP president Jayshri Pawar and others were also present at the occasion.
