ATS hunts Bihar man in search for Bhatkal
The Anti-Terrorism Squad has launched a manhunt for a Bihar man, who they claim could lead them to Yasin Bhatkal, IM co-founder and mastermind in the July 13 triple blasts.
Officials are looking for one Arif Khan from Bihar, who they suspect was in touch with Imran, an alias used by Bhatkal.
Earlier this month, the ATS had arrested Arif’s nephew along with two other youth from Mohali in Punjab in a fake SIM card case.
Bihar residents Qamar-e-Aalam Shaikh and Abdul Wahab and their friend Naseem Shahejahan were arrested by the ATS from Mohali on January 1.
They were accused of impersonating, creating fake profiles and procuring mobile phone SIM cards with forged documents.
The ATS had, however, told the court that only a cheating charge could be ascertained against the trio.
