Bookies predict normal monsoon for city

Bookies have predicted a normal monsoon this year, and say that the city will receive between 1,800 to 1,900 mm rainfall this season. The bookies, who have shifted to Goa after top bookies were arrested rece-ntly, said that they will be depending on the forecasts and rainfall recorded by international meteorological websites. They expect to do a business of `3,300 to `4,000 crore in the season.
“After the recent arrests of six bookies, including Dinesh Kothari and Sunil Jalan, bookies have now shifted base to Goa from where they are opening the rates. While the top bookies will be lodged in Goa, their men will conduct the business locally,” said a city-based bookie.
Bookies expect a normal monsoon with 1,800-1,900 mm rainfall being recorded for the entire season. “We will also be depending more on the predictions made by international weather websites to come up with updated rates, as their equipment is more sophisticated. We expect to do a business of around `3,300-`4,000 crore,” he said.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
