COPS RECOVER CHARRED BODY OF WOMAN

The Kasa police pressed into action after a charred body of an unidentified woman was found at a secluded place in Avandhani of Thane rural on Monday. It has registered a case of murder and is interrogating locals.
According to an official from Kasa police station, their control room received a phone call at around 10 am from someone in the neighbourhood, informing them about the dead body.
It was spotted lying at a secluded spot near Susri River in Gaonthanpada. Officials from the Kasa police rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy after conducting the panchnama. The autopsy report stated that she had suffered 100 per cent burns.
“The woman was somewhere around 25 years of age.
Her body is so badly burnt that it is almost impossible to ascertain her identity. We are working in tandem with other police stations to see if any woman went missing in Thane rural recently. We are also in touch with police stations in the district,” said unit head assistant inspector, Bharat Choudhary of Kasa police station.
