Herbs, honey, mixer & sieve

Quack Munir Khan, who surrendered himself to the police after being on the run for six months, has told the police that three simple appliances were all he needed to amass a Rs 200-crore fortune.
On his first day of police interrogation, Munir Khan has told the police that all he used to prepare his “medicines” was a mixer, a sieve and a large vessel.
“I would first mix various ayurvedic herbs in honey using the mixer. I would then pour the mixture into the vessel, using the sieve to filter it and add water. This solution would then be filled
into 100 ml bottles and sealed,” Khan has told the police.
Meanwhile, the police said that the medicine that Khan claimed to have invented himself was nothing more than a mixture of easily available ayurvedic herbs.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has already submitted its report to the police, saying that the medicines had no healing capabilities whatsoever.
“All of the herbs in Khan’s medicines are basic herbs and seeds with ayurvedic uses, available at any medical store. Khan claims to have experimented with different mixtures and invented a miracle cure which could heal any disease,” said Ms Kalpana Gadekar, police inspector, Versova police station.
Khan is currently being held in the lock-up at the Andheri police station, where a couple of officials with the Versova police monitor his movements round the clock. On Wednesday night, Khan started complaining of ill-health and demanded medical attention.
“Khan claimed to be suffering breathing problems and asked to be taken to a hospital. We agreed, but told him that if this was a trick to stay out of lock-up, it would not work as it would only extend his police custody. He was informed that the number of days an accused spends in a hospital are not considered days spent in police custody. Khan, then, ‘miraculously’
recovered,” said an officer with the Versova police station.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
