Ishrat’s mom meets with accident, safe

Shamima Kauser, mother of fake encounter victim Ishrat Jahan, met with an accident in Mumbra in the early hours of Thursday, but managed to escape unscathed. However, the local corporator who accompanied Ms Kauser believes that they had been attacked.
The incident took place at around 1 am in the Amrut Nagar area of Mumbra, when Ms Kauser was returning home from the airport in businessman Mohiuddin Sayyed’s car. She was accompanied by local corporator Abdul Rauf Khan also known as Rauf Lala and Sayyed.
According to Mr Khan, two men came on a motorcycle and had a was modified .22 mm handgun. “First, some unidentified object hit our car’s rear windshield and broke it. Then, when our driver applied the brakes, the motorcycle rammed into our car,” he claimed. However, according to the Mumbra police, the motorcyclist lost control and rammed into their car from behind.
