Kids die inside parked car

Three children, including two siblings, were found dead inside a car in Bhiwandi on Thursday. The children, who had gone missing since Wednesday afternoon, died due to suffocation, post-mortem reports have revealed.
According to the police, the children had strayed into a large parking lot on Wednesday and accidentally locked themselves in a car while playing. The police has booked two officials of the godown company for causing death due to negligence under the IPC. Dilip Amar Maji (7), his sister Ruby (5) and Raj Vinodsingh Soni (6) were playing outside their house in Kalher village. “At around 12.30 pm, their families realised that they had been missing. They first assumed the children might have gone to a wedding in the village and would return by evening. However, when there was no sign of them even after 12 hours, they registered a missing persons report,” said senior police inspector A.V. Jagtap of the Narpoli police station.
The villagers finally launched a search by midnight on Thursday, while the police questioned other residents and the family that was hosting the wedding. During the search, the police and locals reached a plot with around 300 parked vehicles. The cars belonged to the Mahindra company.
“The children were found in a Mahindra Verito. Dilip and Ruby were in the backseat, while Raj was lying in the driver’s seat. The post-mortem report has concluded suffocation as the cause behind the death. We have registered a case against Sumit Malhotra and Amit Chandrakant Sakpal of the Global Gallery Agency Private Limited, which operates the car park. Sakpal has been arrested,” said police inspector Sanas.
The two have been booked under Sections 336 (endangering life and personal safety), 304 A (causing death by negligence) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC.
The plot, admeasuring two acres, is used by the company to conduct technical inspections on the cars before delivery.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
