‘Many ministers from DF govt own flats in Adarsh’
Senior BJP legislator Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday alleged that apart from three former chief ministers, some present ministers in the ruling Democratic Front are also involved in the controversial Adarsh housing society scandal.
Speaking in the Assembly, the BJP legislator mentioned 12 names, which, he claim-ed, were dummy owners of flats in Adarsh.
The allegations from Mr Fadnavis came a day before the state government is expected to table the Adarsh commission report, along with the action to be taken report.
Participating in a debate on the deteriorating law and order situation of the state, Mr Fadnavis said, “Several dummy owners were funded by these politicians for getting benami flats.” Mr Fadnavis also took names of 12 persons, who according, to him are dummy members for ministers.
He claimed that the inquiry panel, probing the case, depended on sworn affidavits from the people under the scanner.
