Mumbai vessel fire kills Korean sailor, 6 injured

A South Korean sailor was killed and six others — two crew and four local workers — injured in an explosion and subsequent fire on chemical tanker Royal Diamond 7 at Mumbai harbour around 11.25 am Saturday. The same ship had a fire a week ago.

The vessel was near Butcher Island off Mumbai, where it was anchored since March 19. South Korean Munhyeon Seok succumbed to injuries while being shifted from J.J. Hospital to Masina Hospital.
