Eminent fashion and celebrity photographer and father of actress Antara Mali, Jagdish Mali succumbed to long-standing liver ailments at Nanavati Hospital in Vile Parle on Monday morning.
Mr Mali was diagnosed with liver ailments in 1998 for the first time, but of late he was said to be stable.
In a statement, Nanavati Hospital said, “Photographer Mr Jagdish Mali had a long-standing liver problem. He was diagnosed with it 16 years ago. Though he had been on treatment, he would become unwell intermittently. This time, his problem worsened so much, from where it was impossible to come back from.
