Sajid to continue with ‘commercial’

Sajid Khan, riding high on the success of Housefull 2, has similar plans with the Himmatwala remake. Having proven his detractors wrong by delivering a blockbuster hit, Sajid is going full throttle with Himmatwala. “Now that he has a hat-trick of successes behind him, nobody will challenge him over his claims of commercial cinema,” says a friend of the director.
Sajid too confirms that it’s going to be another thorough commercial entertainer. “The only rule I have learnt ever since I started watching movies is that cinema should be only about entertainment. All my films have been about this and Himmatwala would be no different,” says Sajid, who is the only director after Rajkumar Hirani (Munnabhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai, 3 Idiots) to have each of his first three films being a hit.
