Sona-Kangy patch up for Salman

After a cold war spanning over a year, Sonakshi Sinha and Kangna Ranaut have decided to let bygones be bygones. And the man who is instrumental behind this change of heart, is none other than Salman Khan.
The superstar wants the two ladies to come together for his celebrity cricket team Mumbai Heroes as brand ambassadors. Last year, Sona and Kangna had a massive fallout over the team and the battle had reached the point where Sona walked out of the Dubai series. Her absence from the matches gave Kangna the limelight she was vying for.
“Both Sonakshi and Kangana were keen to be the sole face of the team. But this time the Khan brothers made it very clear that they wanted both actresses to be brand ambassadors for the team,” says our source from the Celebrity Cricket League.
Sources say that Salman wasn’t happy with Sonakshi’s absence last year. “Every actress wants to be associated with Salman Khan. Be it Sona or Kangna or anybody else, there are perks of being associated with that camp. So it’s wise to not let their ego get the better of them and make the most of the given opportunity,” the source adds.
While Kangana is relatively free to commit to the team, Sona has to make room in a packed schedule. “She will be shooting for Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2 at the time of the tournament. Her film with Shahid is also slated to begin around the same time,” says a source close to her. But Sona doesn’t seem to be using that as an excuse to miss the tournament again. “She has promised to be present from time to time, if not throughout the tournament,” the source adds.
Considering how inflated egos get in the film industry, this patch up was quite a feat on Salman’s part. But then, as it appears, few things are impossible for this Dabangg Tiger.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
