Three men rape eunuch in moving car
The Vinoba Bhave Nagar police has registered a case of unnatural sex and assault against three persons for reportedly sexually assaulting a eunuch on Wednesday night.
The accused raped the eunuch while driving her around in his car with two other passengers, and also reportedly tortured him with cigarette burns.
The eunuch and one of the accused apparently know each other as they live in the same building at Vikhroli.
At around 10 pm on Wednesday, the victim, aged 20 years, had come to a restaurant, Hotel Naaz on LBS Road with a friend to buy food.
“The victim was getting off from an auto when a car stopped before them. Mubarak (35), the victim’s
neighbour, was in the car and asked the eunuch to get inside. They kept driving around the car in the Ghatkopar (west) region, while Mubarak continued forcing himself upon the victim. According to the victim’s statement, they had unnatural sex with him and assaulted him several times in the process,” informed police inspector N. Shivli.
Mr Shivli added that the accused then stopped the car in the Gangwadi in Ghatkopar (west) and butted a cigarette on his body.

Cop assaulted with a beer bottle

A 37-year-old police constable from Kandivali police station, during a early morning patrolling on Thursday in Kandivali (west), was assaulted with a beer bottle by one of the two accused as he stopped them for making queries. The accused, Sachin Malhotra (22), who was chased and arrested, is said to have a criminal background.
According to Kandivali police, the victim, constable Sanjay Khatate was patrolling on MG Road at around 4 am, when he and his colleague constable Jayesh Dhurat spotted Malhotra moving in a rickshaw. Suspecting something amiss, the duo asked the rickshaw driver to stop and started making queries with Malhotra and his friend.
Malhotra was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and was carrying a hacksaw, and a beer bottle with him. After a while, a heated argument ensued and before the constables could react, Malhotra broke the beer bottle in half and attacked Khatate with it. Khatate has suffered serious injuries on his face and shoulder.
