‘Will never join hands with NCP’
MNS chief Raj Thackeray on Saturday ruled out an alliance with the NCP to come to power in the Pune Municipal Corporation. He said that he will not be able to face people in the next election if he joined hands with the NCP.
Mr Thackeray visited Pune on Saturday to meet his party’s newly-elected corporators. The MNS, with 29 corporators, has surprisingly emerged as the second largest party in the PMC. The NCP, which was aiming to win an absolute majority in the 152-member house, has fallen well-short of the majority mark of 77. The NCP won 52 seats.
