All of us are unique beings

Don’t pretend to love others, just understand that they are irritating you. But the question that arises is that why are other people irritating you? Why are you getting irritated by them? Simply because they are not the way you expect them to be and they are not the way you want them to be. But in the same breath, you also claim that you believe

in God. If you believe in God, then the person who is irritating you also happens to be a creation of God. S/he seems to be such a masterpiece that s/he can just irritate the hell out of you, isn’t it?
There is no point in deceiving yourself. Rather, you should just see that you are getting irritated because you have already decided what is right and what is wrong. That is the way you see others.
If people behave in a different way, it will first irritate you, then you will get angry, then you will start hating them and finally you would even want to kill them.
These are all natural processes. It happens simply because you are expecting everybody in the world to be like you. If everybody in the world were to be like you, could you be here? Say for example, in your own home if there was one more person who was just like you, would you be able to live in that house? Would it be possible?
The fact that everybody in the world is the way they are is a very good thing to acknowledge. Any human being is absolutely unique! Isn’t it? They’re absolutely unique.
The person who is sitting next to you right now, if you look at him or her, you will see that there is no other human being exactly like him or her anywhere on this planet. There never was one and there never will be one such person.
If you recognise that there is only one person like him or her and that s/he is such a precious material; how can s/he irritate you? If you see this, where is the question of irritation?
The fact is that you are blind and hence the irritation that is troubling you so much. You have closed you eyes to life. You are blind towards it. You have not opened your eyes and looked at life; that is why you get irritated. Otherwise, how can anybody irritate you? One must see and appreciate the uniqueness of all creations. Love is the only way you will be and will become an outpouring of love.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
